I enjoy getting to work with children and their families to improve their child’s health.
Background
Dr. Annika Sutton-Wolf joined our practice in 2015. She grew up in California and Colorado, but moved to the East Coast to study biology at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Dr. Sutton-Wolf wrote a number of publications on immunology while at MIT, and also played soccer on the school team. She traveled back to the West Coast for her medical degree at U.C. Davis and completed her pediatric residency at Seattle Children’s Hospital and the University of Washington.
Dr. Sutton-Wolf had a wonderful pediatrician while growing up who inspired her to go into pediatrics. She is interested in infant and early childhood experiences and development. Dr. Sutton-Wolf has training in Promoting First Relationships and is interested in exploring how supporting early childhood development and relationships can impact families.
Dr. Sutton-Wolf and her husband love spending time outdoors with their two kids, particularly if it involves soccer. She is a huge fan of watching soccer, whether the players are her children, the Sounders, the Reign, or the U.S. National team. Dr. Sutton Wolf also enjoys hiking, cooking, baking, and volunteering for science programs at her children’s school.
