Gabrielle Son, DNP, PMHNP-BC

Background

Gabrielle Son joined our practice in 2024. She completed her undergraduate education at the University of Washington. She earned both her nursing degree and Doctor of Nursing Practice degree at Seattle University.

Gabrielle's passion for pediatrics stems from her deep belief in the transformative power of early intervention. She recognizes the lifelong impact that mental health care during childhood and adolescence can have, helping young individuals build resilience and develop essential coping skills. Her inspiration to work with children and teens began in college, where she served as a peer mental health educator. She later became a certified behavior technician, working directly with children and adolescents with autism. Prior to Allegro Pediatrics, Gabrielle worked as both an adult and child/adolescent psychiatric nurse for three years. These experiences solidified her commitment to supporting this unique population during critical stages of emotional, social, and developmental growth.

Gabrielle lives in Seattle with her beloved dog, Clifford Potato. With a rich background in music and performing arts, she grew up immersed in piano, violin, and voice lessons, as well as ballet, tap, and jazz dance classes. These experiences have cultivated her love for live performances and artistic expression. Gabrielle also values her spiritual and religious foundation, drawing strength and guidance from her faith. In her free time, she enjoys singing karaoke, dancing, journaling, reading, and attending concerts.
