It is a privilege to be a part of our patients’ lives, and humbling to have their trust.
Background
Dr. Jean Sahs joined our practice in 2000, after working at the Bellevue Clinic for eight years. She studied mechanical engineering at the University of Nebraska – Lincoln, and attended medical school at the University of Nebraska Medical Center. Dr. Sahs completed her residency at Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh.
Dr. Sahs feels that working with children and families, learning from them while helping address whatever brought them into the office, is the best part of each day. She says, “No day is boring or alike, as each day brings smiling, fun kids into my world.” Dr. Sahs enjoys helping parents understand the amazing changes their child is experiencing: physically, emotionally, socially, and psychologically.
Dr. Sahs is from a large Nebraska farming family. Her husband is also from Nebraska, and they live in Seattle with their two teenage boys, dog, and hamster. They enjoy spending time as a family, traveling by small plane, camping, hiking, playing games, and watching their sons play sports. Dr. Sahs sings in two choirs, and also likes to garden, read, and spend time with her friends.
