I love Pediatrics because I get to work with children and young adults all day - they surprise me, inspire me and fill me with hope and happiness!
Background
Dr. John Schreuder joined our practice in 2021. He attended the University of Washington for both his undergraduate education and medical school. Dr. Schreuder completed his residency at Seattle Children’s Hospital. He has over 20 years of experience as a primary care pediatrician.
Dr. Schreuder loves to work with children and young adults. He appreciates that children are honest, unpredictable, hopeful, resilient, joyful, and inspiring. Dr. Schreuder is passionate about helping his patients and their families retain these traits and grow into the best versions of themselves, as they do the same for him.
Dr. Schreuder has lived in the greater Puget Sound area with his family and dogs his entire life and can’t imagine a better or more beautiful place to be. Outside of work, he enjoys cooking, eating, hiking, boating, fishing, enjoying nature, dreaming, volunteering, and walking his dogs. Currently, Dr. Schreuder is on the board of the Mercer Island Youth and Family Services and has recently completed his term as Medical Staff President at Seattle Children’s Hospital.
