I love caring for children and seeing the difference primary and preventative care can have on patient health and wellness outcomes.

Background

Lauren Forbes joined our practice in 2021. She attended Gonzaga University for her undergraduate education and completed her Doctor of Nursing Practice at the University of Washington.

Lauren always knew that she wanted to pursue a profession that involved caring for children. It was after she worked as a camp counselor for children with chronic medical conditions that she decided on a career in pediatric medicine. Lauren was inspired seeing each child’s resiliency, as well as the exceptional medical care that enhanced their quality of life. She also worked as an inpatient nurse at Seattle Children’s Hospital, where her enthusiasm for pediatric medicine continued to evolve and strengthen.

Lauren is passionate about caring for children of all ages. She believes it is a privilege to support patients and their families through their health journey. Lauren's goal is to not only provide exceptional care, but also to empower families through education and a strong support system.

Lauren was raised in Seattle and loves the Pacific Northwest. She currently lives in Seattle with her husband and two busy dogs. Outside of work, Lauren loves to travel, read, and stay active outdoors. She enjoys hiking, skiing, and running.

Occasionally, providers may not be accepting new patients. Please check with the receptionist when scheduling an appointment.
