I enjoy being a part of my patients’ experiences as they grow and learn about the world around them.
Background
Dr. Emilie Weigel joined our practice in August 2016. She attended the University of Washington for her undergraduate degree, completed medical school at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York, and returned to Seattle Children’s Hospital for her residency. Dr. Weigel chose pediatrics because of the potential to impact the lives of patients during childhood and into adulthood. She also enjoys the funny things kids say.
Dr. Weigel lives in Seattle with her husband, daughter, and their Bernese mountain dog named Makwa. Makwa means “bear” in Ojibwe, a Native American language spoken by the Chippewa. Dr. Weigel enjoys being outside, whether hiking in the Cascades or walking in their Ballard neighborhood. She loves spending time with her extended family, running on a sunny day, reading a good book, or listening to Radiolab.
Occasionally, providers may not be accepting new patients. Please check with the receptionist when scheduling an appointment
